Hello, everyone! So today I have something a little different for you, a 3 week slimming fix – don’t worry, I’m still sticking to my weekly workout routine. If you want to see my activewear looks this week, keep reading below!

My girlfriend is getting married at the end of this month and she asked me what she should do in 3 weeks to prepare! I gave him my honest opinion: cut carbs, drink lots of water and eat regularly. He asked me if it was too late for him to start lifting and if he should stick to his clean empty classes and orange theory, which is basically full body exercise but not heavy lifting.

Yes, I told him it’s not too late to propose. I think a lot of women think that lifting, especially heavy lifting, is not. To reduce your body fat, you need to increase your muscle mass, which is done through strength training and adequate protein, nutrition, etc. What is burned is finally stored as fuel.

More cardio, or an extra session of HIIT per week will also help you burn fat and lose weight, especially if you’re on a “deadline”, but remember that the 2 most important things will be 1) strength training and 2) nutrition .

The Life Plan Diet

A few “rules” that I will have for the 3 Week Slim Down that I will follow when I have an event that I want to look “good” for are these:

: I can calculate how many carbs you eat per day and reduce based on how much you usually eat. If you eat more than 180 g, I will reduce it by 40-60 g. If you eat 120-160g, I would reduce by 20g in the first week. For the next two weeks, reduce by 10 grams each time. If you don’t regularly track your calorie intake in My Fitness Pal – I highly recommend doing so! You want to eat the same amount of protein as your body weight, if not less. However, I think tracking your carbs is very important these weeks, so you can track them regularly. Overall, you want to keep your protein the same, lower your carbs, and when you lower your carbs, you want to increase your fat because it’s average!

Eat clean and eat often! You want to keep your metabolism high by eating regularly and never starving. On weekends you can eat moderate chit-dial and you can always drink a glass of dry wine.

I recommend drinking about 100 oz, especially if you’re doing HIIT because you want to stay hydrated. Water is also an important part of fat loss, so don’t skip that part!

Every Monday I will post my weekly work. I have included recipes for things I often eat. I can change them to your macros, which is why I didn’t write down “how much” on your plate.
